Letha Maxine Merrill entered her heavenly home on Nov. 16, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born on April 15, 1922 , in Sharon, OK to Earnest Leroy Hinshaw and Goldia Keith Hinshaw.

She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1940. She was a member of South Lee United Methodist Church where she met the love of her life, Cecil Kenneth Merrill. They were united in marriage on April 22, 1942. They had three children, Ronald Cecil, Glenna Rae, and Douglas Leroy. Letha was a stay-at-home mom until her kids were grown. She then went back to school and earned her LPN Degree. She worked at Mercy Hospital and South Community Hospital.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a brother, Keith Hinshaw, a sister, Elva "Jean" Chiaf, and three great-grandaughters, twins, Madeline and Abigail, and Amelia Merrill.

She is survived by sons, Ron (Eng) of San Diego, CA, and Doug (Paula) of Blanchard, and daughter, Glenna (Charles) Blair of Newkirk, and a brother Jim Hinshaw of Tucson, AZ. Also, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
