LINDA JEAN (BRAVO) FARRELL, 61, of Oklahoma City, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, surrounded by family, after a 4 year fight with breast cancer. A lifelong Oklahoman, Linda was born November 19, 1950 to Rocky and Dorothy Bravo in Norman, OK. She attended school at Christ the King, Bishop McGuinness, and Central State College. She loved outdoor activities, especially kayaking. Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ken Farrell; daughters Kelly Farrell and partner Julie Cumberland of Little Rock, AR, and Camille Kilbourne and husband Josh of Edmond, OK; six siblings: Mary Lu Schmid (Dale), Cottage Grove, OR; Susi Hobbs (Charlie), OKC; Ben Bravo (Leslie), Houston, TX; Nancy Bravo (John Christensen), Eugene, OR; Alan Bravo, Denver, CO; and Janet Henderson, Edmond, OK; four sisters- and brothers-in-law: Linda Doolen (Larry), Tulsa, OK and Coleen Trosper (Tim), Dallas, TX; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Rocco and Dorothy (Hadlock) Bravo, and in-laws Cleo and Betty Farrell. The family will receive visitors Friday, July 13, 6-8 p.m. at Stanford Court Clubhouse, 6457 Masons Drive, OKC, 73142. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2 p.m., at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd, OKC, 73142. Requested dress is casual, with pink and other bright colors welcome. A reception follows immediately at Stanford Court Clubhouse.
