Lonnie Ray Blakley November 28, 1937 ~ March 2, 2015 Lonnie, 78 years old, departed this earthly life on March 2, 2015. He was born on November 28, 1937 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma. Lonnie spent over 30 years in the carpet industry, managing distributorships and sales territories. He treasured the carpet dealers and other people he worked with and for in the carpet industry. Lonnie was a blessing to his family and all of his friends. He was married 56 years to his wife Ruth. Lonnie was an excited Catholic convert for over 25 years and he experienced Marriage Encounter and Cursillo as soul enriching gifts. Lonnie was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and an avid golfer. Lonnie's gift of salesmanship earned him and Ruth many opportunities to travel the world. He is preceded in death by his: • Mother Opal Gray Blakley and father John Rile Blakley • Brothers: Sherman, Jimmy and Cliff Blakley • Sister Zella Daugherty Lonnie is survived by his: • Wife Ruth • Sons Mark and Angie, Brian and Teresa and Scottt Balkley • 10 Grandchildren • 3 Great Grandchildren • Sister Lorene • And many nieces and nephews
