Louis Dallas Davis, 94, died Monday, December 28, 2009 in his home in Warr Acres. He was born in Amorita, Oklahoma on June 19, 1915 to Alta Lois Kellogg Davis and Albert Sydney Johnson Davis. Louis graduated from Amorita High School in 1933. In 1940 he married his beloved wife, Clemma Bishop. From 1942 - 1945 he served as a flight engineer in the Army Air Corp. After the war he returned to Oklahoma City where he was an independent painting and decorating contractor for over 50 years. Louis had been an active member of Northwest Christian Church for over 55 years, serving the church in a number of capacities. He is survived by wife, Clemma; daughter, Rebecca Davis; son, Louis "Butch" Davis; granddaughter, Heather Durbin and her husband Joel, grandson, Sean Davis and his wife Misty; and great-grandchildren, Alexandria Davis, Kimberley Davis, Kiley Davis and Connor Durbin. Louis was a loving and generous man who served his Lord by serving his fellow man. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all those who have supported them with their prayers, calls and visits. They especially wish to thank Quality Life Hospice for all their care of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Services will be Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Northwest Christian Church with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
