IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lowell Eugene
Aumiller
August 17, 1953 – December 10, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lowell Eugene Aumiller Jr., beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend.
Lowell was born on August 17, 1953, in Fayetteville, NC to his parents Anna Laura and Lowell Aumiller, Sr., whom he is now reunited with, along with a kennel full of former pets.
Lowell graduated from Carl Albert High School and enlisted in the Navy where he served on a submarine, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, and later served in the Reserve. After his service, he stumbled upon the Society of Creative Anachronism, a medieval reenactment group, and dedicated over 40 years of his life as a bard and entertainer, writing and singing songs, running and competing in Ax, Knife and Spear throws, testing the efficacy of Wolfsfire, and being an all-around good friend. There known as Uriah of Wolfstar, he was one of the founding members of Household Wolfstar, and was passionate and loyal to the ideals upon which the household was founded. Beyond these pursuits, Lowell found joy in various hobbies such as playing D&D, hunting, fishing, walking and just straight talking your ear off. Above all else, family and friends were always first in his heart.
Lowell will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his loving wife Lisa Aumiller (aka Dagmar) of over 25 years, his sisters Carolyn Jean and Susan . He will also be remembered lovingly by his nieces and nephew, Tara, Tina, Bonnie, Samantha and Paul, and a whole encampment of friends, comrades and members of household. May he rest in Peace. To his Excellency, Baron Uriah of Wolfstar, Vivat! Vivat! Vivat!
