Lucy Madeline (Zschiesche) Hope was born March 31, 1939 in Long Island, NY. She completed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Mercy Hospital at the age of 82.

Lucy moved to Oklahoma City with her family in 1950. She was in the first graduating class of Northwest Classen in 1956. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta social sorority as well as a Sigma Chi Sweetheart.

Lucy married Robert Cotter Hope on August 8, 1959. They made their home in Oklahoma City where they raised their family.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert; her son, Dr. R. C. Hope, Jr. and wife D'Anna of OKC; Deborah Coursey and her fiancé, John Jackson of OKC; her grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Coursey and Amy of Tulsa, Riley Hope and Jack Hope of OKC.

Family and friends memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be made in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
