January 29, 1917- February 10, 2012

Luvada Mae Cryer was the middle child of eleven children born to DeWitt and Dona Williams in Owens Prairie, a few miles east of Marlow, OK. Luvada proudly earned the title, one year, as being the best speller in Stephens county, and then continued on to complete the 10th grade. She married Ray F. Cryer in 1936 and had three children. Luvada was a life long member of the Church of Christ. She loved attending church and reading her bible. She truly loved and cared about her siblings and their families, as well as her own children and grandchildren. Luvada is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; son, Gerald Dwain Cryer; grandson, Robert Ray Holder; parents, and 10 siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanita and husband Larry; Linda Aynes and friend Warren Marshall, her one granddaughter, Rhonda and husband Jesse Woodriff and four grandsons: Larry and wife Nancy Warden, Mike and wife Chris Warden, Steve and wife Dana Warden, and Keith and wife Dede Aynes, also thirteen great grandchildren, and four and 1/2 great, great grandchildren, four great grandchildren-in-laws. Her family will cherish the memory of her Christian faith, funny ways, her cooking and teaching her grand-kids to play dominoes. She especially excelled in the game of dominoes, her favorite was the game 42. Memorials may be made to Southwest Church of Christ building fund or to Tipton Children's Home in Tipton, OK. Services will be officiated by Lewis Hale, at Southwest Church of Christ 10:00AM Tuesday February 14, and committal will be at 2:30PM at the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, OK.
