On March 4, 2022, Lydia "Esther" Echevarria entered the presence of our Lord Jesus as he received her into his everlasting glory. Born on August 5, 1954, to Manuel and Confessora Rosado in Anasco, Puerto Rico, Esther was the youngest of three children. Her brothers are Isaias and Samuel. After graduating from Hiram W Johnson High School in 1972, Esther married Stephen on December 21, 1974, and they celebrated 47 happy years of marriage.

Over her life, Esther worked as a budget analyst, directed the Missionettes program at church, and spent her free time sewing. Residing in Oklahoma for over 20 years, (two and half of which she battled stage four liver cancer) she is no longer suffering, and her soul is at peace.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen, her two children: Lisa Perna and Jacob Echevarria, and one grandchild: Isabella Perna. Known as Esther by her family and friends, she will be remembered as a wife, mother, and a friend.
