Macie's family has requested memorial donations to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation

Macie Greene was born on September 17, 2003 in Oklahoma City to Michael and Brenda Greene. Macie went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. She fought a life-long battle with Rett Syndrome, but passed peacefully at home with her family near her side.

Macie attended Moore Public Schools throughout her life. She loved going to school and being involved in her classroom activities. Macie attended elementary at Southgate-Rippetoe and Wayland Bonds. She attended middle school at Southridge Jr. High and attended high school at Southmoore. Macie was set to receive her diploma this May. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Moore Public School's Administration, Teachers, Paras, and Nurses for taking such good care of Macie for the 17 years that she attended.

Macie's favorite things were watching Dora the Explorer and playing with her Leap-Frog, Tad. She also enjoyed getting in the pool and spending time with her family. Macie and her family made some wonderful memories while traveling together to Destin, Orange Beach, and their Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World.

Although Macie is no longer here on this earth, her bright spirit will always be remembered. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends but never forgotten.

She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Brenda; Sister, Megan Chase and husband Zac; Sister, Morgan Stallings and husband Cody. Grandparents, Richard and Pat Greene, Grandmother Flo Thomas. Nieces & Nephews Cooper and Clay Stallings, Kensley and Hadley Chase. As well as numerous extended family members and friends including Macie's best friend, Sydnee Kirkham.
