Madeleine Louise (Bulter) Schmidt passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 28. The daughter of David Allan and Dawn Celeste (Brady) Butler. Madeleine was born May 5, 1986 in Modesto, California. She later met the love of her life, Evan Eli Schmidt. They were married on October 1, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma. She gave birth to their first child Harden Schmidt on April 19, 2012. She lovingly referred to Harden as her little Gingerbread Man. Madeleine was a loving wife and mother. She loved to cook and try new foods. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her: Father, David Allan Butler; Son, Fred Two Schmidt. She leaves behind her loving: Husband of nearly 4 years, Evan Eli Schmidt; Son, Harden Everett Schmidt; Mother, Dawn Butler; Sister, Nheree Gotcher and her husband, Michael; Nieces, Aubrie, Kenlie, Karys, Juliette, Irelyn and Lorelei Gotcher; Nephews, Keaton, Gage and Shepherd Gotcher; Mother-in-law, Tamra Sue Schmidt; Father-in-Law, Brett Everett Schmidt; Brother-in-Law, Alex Schmidt; Brother-in-Law, Logan Schmidt; Two Dogs, Lola Bean Schmidt and Dude Head Schmidt; and countless other loving family members and friends. A visitation with the family will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes Chapel, located at 4000 SW 119th St, OKC, OK 73173. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 beginning at 1 PM at Southern Hills Baptist Church located at 8601 S Pennsylvania Ave., OKC, OK 73159. We would like her service to be a time to celebrate her life. We ask that everyone wear bright colors as this is what Madeleine would have wanted.
