Ora Mae Ouellette, 85, of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 at home with her dear family by her side.
Mae was born in Winchester, Tennessee on January 21, 1940 to Alan and Mildred (Warren) Hill. She was one of 9 children. She was raised in Decherd, Tennessee along with her brothers Clyde, Vernon, Kenneth, Aaron, Damon and Danny and sisters Marie and Rebbeca.
Mae and Gerard Ouellette had 4 children, Gerard (Dwayne), Dawn, David and Dean. Over the span of many years, they moved from Tennessee to Ohio then to Oklahoma. Later, Mae and Gerard adopted their son, Steven, into the family. Mae was a loving mother who always thought about her family, putting their needs before her own.
Mae had received her Bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown University. She became a realtor and was quite skilled in her new career and it wasn't long before she went into business for herself and started her own real estate rental company, Greenville Properties. She owned and operated the business for over 40 years and made countless friends and unforgettable memories along the way.
Mae loved her family dearly and she made special memories with each of her children, and later was able to spread that joy and love with her grandchildren. In her spare time, Mae liked to sew, making special clothes and costumes through the years, even making a wedding gown for David's bride.
She will always be remembered for her good business sense. Her legacy will live on through her loving family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Mae's had requested memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
