Her faith and love of her Lord guided her throughout her entire life. While in Mississippi she was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist church in Jackson and the First Baptist Church of Madison. In Oklahoma City she was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church. She loved reading, working crosswords, being with her family and going out to eat with her friends. She especially loved getting to live in Oklahoma for the past 16 years where she was able to be a part of so many special moments in her family's lives including sporting events, holidays, graduations, weddings, the birth of her great grandchildren and most of all the daily visits from her son who was the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Gladys (Horton) Spain; her husband, Harold B. Blalock; her daughter, Linda Lee Taylor; her son, Jerry Cooper Taylor, Jr.; and her first husband, Jerry Cooper Taylor. Margaret is survived by her son, Frederick G. "Chip" Taylor and his wife Lisa of Oklahoma City; her beloved grandchildren, Jenna Taylor Woodward and husband Tyler, Sela Taylor Mesigh and husband Michael and Kooper Taylor Caballeros and husband Raul; and her two great grandchildren, Emery Adele Woodward and Tyler James Woodward, Jr. She is also survived by her extended family, dear friends and loving caregivers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Sunday, March 13th at the Vondel Smith Mortuary North. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 14th at her home church Quail Springs Baptist. Private interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
