Margaret Rose Boudreau Helean passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the age of 81. Margaret was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 11, 1939, to Joseph Phillip and Carmen Sylvia (Goodwin) Boudreau. The family moved to Purcell, Oklahoma when she was a young girl. The family moved back to Oklahoma City when she started her junior year at Mount Saint Mary High School in Oklahoma City. Following graduation, Margaret followed her passion for caring for others at the Sisters of Mercy Nursing School in Oklahoma City. She worked in several facets of nursing along her journey in health care until the birth of her children, Debbie and Ron Pulliam, when she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. Once her children started their secondary education, Margaret began a career as a medical insurance auditor, working first for Aetna Life & Casualty and later retiring from American Fidelity Assurance in Oklahoma City after 27 years of service. Margaret lived a modest life. She enjoyed traveling on occasion with friends, but first and foremost her life revolved around her family and close friends. She was a precious and loving wife, mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Joseph and Carmen Boudreau; Husbands: Leroy E. Pulliam; P.A. Crow and Bill Helean, II; Brother, Joseph Boudreau; Sisters: Mary Ann McAfee and Patti Murray. She is survived by her: Daughter, Debbie Smith and her husband, D; Son, Ron Pulliam and wife, Angie; Five Grandchildren: Joshua, Christopher, and Tyler McKee; Amy Pulliam and Blake Pulliam and wife, Alise; Three Great Grandchildren: Kora, Juniper and Pearl Ivy Pulliam & Jayleigh Craig Five Step-Grandchildren: Coy Smith and wife, Jill and their children: Pack, Josie, and Maddie; Cas Smith and wife, Devon and their children, J.C., Josh, Cadence and Caleigh; Cal Smith and wife, Emily and their children, Kaila, Nathan, Julie and Owen; Sydney Montgomery and husband, Dustin and Kallie Johnson; Sister-in-law: Wilma Bethea and husband, Don; And a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary at South Lakes. Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services to be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma.
