A memorial service, directed by the family, to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at Bryant Ave. Baptist Church located at 4748 S Bryant, Oklahoma City, OK 73135 on Friday, March 26 at 6:00 PM. Margaret Irene Krog of Oklahoma City, OK passed away March 19, 2021. She was born to Virgil L. and Jean (née Hutchison) Walker on September 15, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Margaret graduated from US Grant high school and worked as an auditor for the Oklahoma Tax Commission until she retired after more than 20 years. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother, 'Nana' who will be deeply missed. She loved her dogs, with Chachi being her last one and one of her true loves. She also loved her grandchildren and loved watching them grow. Her favorite pastimes were playing her Bingo Blitz, binge watching her favorite shows and playing cards and Yahtzee. She was an avid reader. Margaret was stubborn and thoughtful and funny and loved her family and friends. When faced with the news that her time was almost up, she looked at each of us and said "I already miss you all so much" and for those of us that love her, we are already missing her so much! Those preceding her in death include her: Parents; Virgil Lonell and Jean (Hutchison) Walker; Sister, Barbara Ann Walker. Surviving family includes: Daughter, Deleana "Dee" Cox-Shamblin; Son, James M. Krog; Grandchildren, Christopher, Ruth, Elizabeth, Chelsea, James & Amanda Brother, Michael Walker; 10 Great Granchildren.
