Margaret (Maggie) Windmueller died Thursday, April 16, 2015, in Oklahoma City. Maggie was born to Catherine and Arthur Janssen on Octorber 29, 1947, in New York City. She grew up in New York City until 1957 when the family moved to St. Louis. She completed her high school education in St Louis. She went on to graduate from Avila College in Kansas City, Mo with a bachelor degree in science (nursing). On December 5, 1970, she married Paul L. Windmueller in Kansas City, Mo. They met in college, and they were married before her husbands graduation. The Windmuellers owned and operated the Buffalo Bar in Idaho Springs, Co. Maggie went on to be a wife and mother of two while they lived in Albuquerque, NM for 17 years. The couple moved to Durango, Co in 1998, purchasing and operating the Logwood Bed and Breakfast. They opened Beau Jo's Mountain Bistro, which became the Iron Horse Pizza in Durango. She enjoyed daily walks with her husband and the family dog Scoobie. She loved her family. Maggie was very happy to become a grandmother to Camden Leo in late March. Maggie moved to Oklahoma City in 2013 and was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. Her family cherished the time they had with her in Oklahoma City. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Windmueller and her parents Catherine and Arthur Janssen. Maggie is survived by her children: Ron Windmueller of Alberta wife Rhyannon and Amy Windmueller Frank of San Francisco husband Mark Frank and grandson Camden Leo Frank ; brother Arthur Janssen of Topeka, Ks; sister Maria Mickley and Judy Myers and brother Dr. Thomas Janssen their spouses all of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
