Viewing will be 4-8 PM Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the funeral home.

Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Passion Church, 3301 N. Council Rd, Bethany, Oklahoma.

Margery Lee Strickler, known to many as "Marge" was born on November 30, 1928, in Ada, Oklahoma, to parents, Orpha (Watson) and Clarence Elmer Long. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2024, at the age of 95.

Growing up, Marge attended Wewoka Public Schools and graduated from Wewoka High School in 1947.

On January 8, 1962, Marge married the love of her life, William (Bill) Albert Strickler and the two were inseparable. She and Bill lived life to the fullest and were a great example of what a marriage should be. In their spare time, they loved to travel together, until Bill's passing on June 8, 1999. Marge also learned to speak Spanish for mission trips to Mexico. She worked in the accounting department at Fleming Foods, retiring after 25 plus years of service. Marge loved to read and had a knack for quilting. After having lived through the Dust Bowl and Bill's passing, Marge's unwavering faith and love for the Lord was very strong. She was a woman of prayer. Marge's favorite scriptures of passage were Psalms 23 and Psalms 91.

She leaves many cherished memories with her:

Sisters in law, Martha Garrison, Mary Murlin, Arta Link and Kit Strickler;

Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews;

Many other loving relatives and friends.
