Funeral Services: 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the South Colonial Chapel
Marguerite E. Wimsett Fleshman, 96, passed away October 17, 2010. She was born March 21, 1914 in Duenweg, Missouri to Elbert and Leah Wimsett. She moved to Oklahoma City with her mother and four brothers at the age of 13 after a tornado destroyed their family home. On June 30, 1932 she married Dean A. Fleshman and to their 67 year union three children were born. They are Margie Dean Lee Slater of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Donald Wayne Fleshman, and Carole Sue Johnson and her husband Earl of Newalla, Oklahoma.
Marguerite was preceded in death by:
• Her husband Dean A. Fleshman;
• Parents Elbert and Leah Wimsett;
• Brothers Roy, Bill, Robert, Bucky, and Eugene Wimsett;
• Son Donald Wayne Fleshman;
• Sons- in-law Dan Lee and Col. Paul Slater;
• Grandson Larry Lee;
• Great-grandson Tyler Fujinami.
She is survived by:
• Daughters Margie Lee Slater of Fountain Hills, Arizona and Carole Sue Johnson and husband Earl of Newalla, Oklahoma;
• Nine grandchildren;
• Fifteen great-grandchildren;
• Seven great- great- grandchildren;
• And numerous nieces, nephews and related family.
The family would like to thank her Health Care workers, Donna Mathis and Beverly Busby
and the Mercy Hospice Team.
