IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marie Regina
Savoie
April 4, 1938 – January 5, 2026
Marie (Determan) Savoie
April 4, 1938 ~ January 5, 2026
Marie Determan Savoie peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on April 4, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Marie was the beloved daughter of Joseph William and Helen Cathern (Schlecht) Determan. She was raised and educated in the Oklahoma City area and proudly graduated from Mount St. Mary's High School in 1956.
In 1963, Marie married the love of her life, Henry Francis Savoie, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, faith, and family, raising their three cherished children.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. A woman of deep faith, she lived with quiet strength, independence, and grace, inspiring all who knew her. Her warmth, quick wit, and gentle sense of humor reflected her remarkable character. Marie was authentic and genuine—always a lady, always herself. She had a rare gift for knowing exactly what to say, and just as importantly, when silence was enough. Her calm spirit, selflessness, and unconditional love were a guiding light and a lasting example to everyone blessed to share life with her.
She was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Loving husband of 58 years, Henry Francis Savoie in March 2021;
Daughter, Sarah Olson;
Granddaughter, Zoe Olson;
Brothers, Joseph Determan & Robert Determan;
Sister, Helen Catherine Mapes
She leaves behind her loving:
