Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 29 at the South Colonial Chapel.

Burial will be 3:00 PM Monday, July29 at the Elmore City Cemetery.

Marilyn Elaine Penrod, 74, passed from this life Thursday, July 25, 2024. She was born August 8, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas the daughter of Othel Earl and Dollie (Robinson) Runyon. After completing high school, Marilyn achieved her Associates degree and worked for the City of Oklahoma City as a Permit Administrator. She married Robert Wayne Penrod and together they raised two daughters. In her early years, Marilyn was a member of the Rainbow Club. She enjoyed shopping, diamond art, quilting, making tutu's and blankets, cooking and baking. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Penrod; infant sister, Barbara Dianne; sister-in- law, Barbara Runyon; brother-in-law, Dennis Miskall; and great grandson, Tuff. She leaves cherished memories with her daughters, Tracy Salyers and husband Jerry and Angi Leinen and husband Billy; brother, Richard Perry Runyon; sister, Evelyn Miskall, 10 grandchildren, Megan, Victoria, Ashlie, Trevor, Bailey, Rylie, Bryan, Cody, Will, and Jessica; 8 great grandchildren, Kameron, Austin, Tyler, Vivyan, Robbie, Beverley, Oaklie, and Andrew; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
