Marilyn Weiler Weeks Whittaker was born October 29, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of George R. and Margaret B. (Lind) Weiler. She completed this life at her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 89.

Marilyn was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois where she graduated from high school and attended Beauty College.

Marilyn married Donald Ward Weeks. They settled in Oklahoma City where they raised their son and daughter. They co-owned and managed a residential construction business. Marilyn was an avid gardener and had quite a green thumb. Don preceded her in death on December 19, 2000. Later on Marilyn married Gene Wesley Whittaker who preceded her in death on January 2, 2017. Marilyn was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Charles Weeks and his wife Erin of Checotah, OK; her daughter, Sherri Liebel and her husband, Robert of Oklahoma City; her sister, Joyce Roof of Sarasota, Florida; her grandchildren, Morgan Liebel, Logan Liebel, Austin Don Weeks and Mark Hanks.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Private family interment will be in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
