Marjorie Mae Patton Rackley age 94 passed away on Saturday April 11, 2015. She was born May 21, 1920 at the Patton family farm near Ft Cobb, OK. She attended 1st thru 8th grade at Foster District 84 School. She went through High School at Ft. Cobb and graduated in1937. From the fall of 1937 until the sunnner of 1942 Margie worked on her teaching degree at Southwestern State College. She began teaching at Foster District 84 School in 1942, grades 1 thru 8. She taught for 32 years in schools including Keyes, Gracemont, Slapout, Western Heights, OK and Follett, TX. Preceeded in death by her parents George and Molly Patton and her husband Cyril Raphy Rackley, Sister Thelma Walsh, Brother Virgil Patton, daughter-in-law Carolyn Rackley, son-in-law Chuck Jacks and great grandson Christopher Brown. She is survived by sister, Donnalee Cypert of Eufaula, OK, five children Ronnie Rackley of Seiling, OK. Donna Jacks of Leesburg, FL, Deanna Williams of Derby KS, Skip (Rita) Rackley of Oklahoma City, OK and Joy (Charles) Hines of Newcastle, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren Marjorie was very talented excelling in many hobbies including sewing, quilting, crochet, painting, and music. Many of her paintings and quilts are valued possessions of her family. She received the Pioneer Teacher award in 2014. She enjoyed traveling with her Sunday school class at Southwest Baptist Church, was a Red Hatter and enjoyed square dancing and swimming at the YMCA. She was a loving wife, Mother and teacher as well as, endearing friend to many. Her beautiful smile and quick wit will leave lasting memories for ever. Marjorie, didn't you just love her!
