Marjorie Lee "Marge" Todd, surrounded by her family, went home to her Heavenly Father and was reunited with several loved ones, on March 10, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, she was born on March 30, 1942 to Merlin Vernon & Marjorie Lee (Smith) Cooper Bartlett. Marge was raised by her mother Marge Cooper Bartlett and Daddy Lloyd Bartlett, with grandmother Ula Mae Smith.

Marge graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960. It was there she met her future husband, Robert P Todd, aka "Whopper T". She then married Bob, her highschool sweetheart, on February 18th 1961, at Capitol Hill Baptist Church.

Marge spent a lifetime of service at Capitol Hill Baptist. She worked for many years as Secretary to the Pastor at Capitol Hill during the 80s and 90s. She also served as the Preschool Director for several years during the 90s. She continued to teach Sunday School in the children's departments for many years after.

Marge loved singing- she would add her strong alto voice to any choir that she could find, including her church choir and a community choir. And she loved her children fiercely. However, the true pride and joy of her life was being the number one fan of her six grandchildren, attending as many of their events as she possibly could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert "Bob" Todd, two sisters Marilyn Mizell & Sylvia Jones, brother Kenneth Cooper, and granddaughter Avery Rose Todd.

She leaves cherished memories with those whose lives she touched and her family: daughters Cindy Bartley and husband Scott, Lisa Todd, son Brian Todd and wife Cheryl, two grandsons Will Lawson and Miles Todd, and four granddaughters, Sabrina Bartley and Marilyn Bartley, and Bethany and Gillian Todd. She is also survived by sisters Frances Tobiason and Dorothy Sutton, and a number of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary- 4000 SW 119th St, OKC, OK, 73173. Hours are from 4:00-8:00 on Tuesday March 12th and Wednesday March 13th, with the family attending to meet guests on Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 P.M.

There will be a private burial on the morning of Thursday March 14th, 2024, followed by a public Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, 304 S. W. 134th Oklahoma City, OK. 73170.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Oklahoma City Community College Foundation designating the Robert P. Todd Leadership Scholarship. The family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation for the prayerful support of friends for our family throughout the past couple of years.
