Mark Wayne Anschutz was born September 25, 1952 in Oklahoma City the son of Ralph Leo and Billie Jean (Flanagan) Anschutz. He completed this life on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Eufaula, OK at the age of 67. Mark was raised in Oklahoma City where he graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1970. He went on to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering and had a successful career in the Oil and Gas Industry. After retiring from Corporate America, Mark began GMS construction and built custom homes for people. He was a success as a homebuilder and some of his houses were even featured in the Parade of Homes. Mark enjoyed boating and loved being at Lake Eufaula with his family and friends. Mark is survived by his daughter, Sarah Danielle Anschutz and her husband Brandon; his sisters, Dana Anschutz and Susie Waring and her husband Dan; his brother, Steve Anschutz and his wife Stephanie; his grandchildren, Addison and Amberly; and his former wife, Robin Gayle Anschutz. A Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23 in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel.
