IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mark Dewayne
Harris
January 25, 1963 – December 19, 2025
Mark Dewayne Harris, 62, of Oklahoma City, passed away on December 19, 2025, surrounded by family. Born January 25, 1963, to Harvey and Almeta Mears Harris. Mark attended Oklahoma City Public Schools and graduated from US Grant High School with the class of 1981 and attended Rose State College. He had a 37-year career in the financial services industry working in corporate and personal trust and as a financial wealth advisor.
Mark was a member of the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, President of Moore Youth Baseball Association, President of the Home Run Club for Moore High School, and volunteered for the Red Andrews Christmas Dinners. Mark volunteered many hours as a little league coach, coaching both of his sons and many other young men.
Mark loved traveling, his children, grandchildren, his Backyard Jamaica, sunrises, sunsets and entertaining. He was always the life of the party. Mark liked to get people to laugh, he loved to tell a joke…sometimes funny, sometimes not, and sometimes "inappropriate". He also had a "big" heart for others.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife: JayLynn; father: Harvey Harris; siblings: Brian Harris (Kevin Lee) and David Harris (Regina Harris); children: Brennen Harris (Kelsey Harris), Cameron Harris (Shelby Harris), Lyndsay Dukes (Ryan Dukes), and Kody Kooken; grandchildren: Palmer, Brexton, Nolan, Harper, Allison, Kage, Macklyn, and Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Almeta Mears Harris, and aunt, Nettie Jo Mitchell.
Mark was always a giver and lover of people and gave the selfless gift of life to others by being an organ donor.
Mark was the president for many years of the Moore Youth Baseball Association. In lieu of flowers Mark's family suggests making a donation to Moore Youth Baseball Association in his memory.
