IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marland
Noak
October 19, 1934 – July 5, 2010
Marland A. Noak went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the age of 75. He was born October 19, 1934 in Tushka, Oklahoma to his parents, Herman Charles and Opal Nera (Winthrow) Noak. After graduating from Tushka High School in 1951, Marland went to work for Tinker Air Force Base for a short while before honorably serving his country in the US Army. After his peacetime service, Marland went back to work for Tinker AFB while he attended Central State Univ. where he received his Bachelors Degree and then attended OU where he graduated with a Masters in Mathematics. Marland retired from Tinker Air Force Base as Engineering Div. Chief for the KC-135 Tanker. Marland enjoyed life and all it had to offer, from pride in working hard, serving God, country & others, and experiencing the best of family & friends. He could often times be found up on his "Therapy Hill" where he would enjoy his horses, pheasants, rabbits and getting his hands in the soil while gardening. It was all therapy for the soul and being one with God and nature. Marland was a sweet, kind and loving man who always put the needs of his family & others first. A loving husband, devoted father and doting "Grandpa Noak," Marland's legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
