Memorial services for Mrs. Martha Caroline Pence, age 86, of Danville, Arkansas will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Lighthouse Foursquare Church, 208 S.E. 70th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Pastor Eric Edwards officiating.

Caroline was born on October 11, 1936, in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elmer Schylor and Vivian Vasthi (Ellsworth) Morris. She passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Integris Hospice House of Oklahoma City. She was united inmarriage to Mr. Kenneth Wayne Pence no September 12, 1954 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a wonderful mother and took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martha was a faithful Christian woman who passed her strong Christian values of faith, honesty and integrity to her family. She was an active member of the Danville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her two sons: Kenny Pence and his wife, Pamela of Arlington, Texas and Dennis (Jim) Pence and his wife, Pamela of Clarksville, Arkansas; four sisters: Ramona Yandle, Sue Dewey, Charlotte Wolf, and Nora Howell and her husband, Jimmy; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer Schylor and Vivian Vasthi (Ellsworth) Morris; her husband, Kenneth Wayne Pence; her youngest son, Gary Don Pence; one sister, Betty Bernice Morris; one brother, Richard Elmer Morris; and one great grandson, Waylon Charles Henderson.

Interment will be in the family cemetery west of Danville, Arkansas.
