A graveside service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 1:30 PM at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.

Mary Mae Downs, affectionately known as "Sis," was born on October 24, 1925 to W.J. "Bill" and Ora Mae Branham in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and was one of 9 children. She peacefully passed from this life at her home surrounded by her family on May 9, 2021. Sis married Carl Downs on October 20, 1942 and from their union they had 4 children. She enjoyed sewing and was an exceptional seamstress. When she wasn't spending time with her family she could be found tending to her garden. She was an avid gardener who had a green thumb for planting flowers as well as vegetables. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by:
Parents;
Husband of 64 years, Carl Downs;
Infant Daughter;
5 siblings.

She leaves behind her loving:
Son, Dennis Downs and wife, Dee;
Daughter, Betty Roher and husband, Robert;
Daughter, Patsy Sample and husband, Patrick;
Brothers, Roy Jefferson Branham & John Branham;
Sister, Polly McCarley;
9 Grandchildren;
18 Great Grandchildren;
Numerous great-great grandchildren;
And several nieces and nephews.
