Mary Alice Kennedy Fisher was born July 24, 1924 to Ivan and Eda Russell Kennedy in Noble,Oklahoma and passed away on December 26, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Norman High School in 1941. Mary Alice received her bachelors and masters degrees in HomeEconomics from the University of Oklahoma in 1946 and 1961. In 1945, she married EnsignBillie Eugene Fisher, a Navy pilot. They had one daughter, Eda Beth. Bill and Mary Alice weremarried 69 years until his death in 2014. Mary Alice taught Vocational Home Economics atNoble High school for 15 years and at the University of Central Oklahoma for 23 years. She was twice elected Outstanding Faculty Woman by the Association of Women students. Mary Aliceserved as President of the Southwest Regional Nutrition Association and was sponsor of theStudent Home Economics Club at UCO. She retired in 1984.

Mary Alice served as a Discussion Leader with Bible Study Fellowship and was a member ofChapter ES PEO. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Edmond and later Quail Springs Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. Mary Alice considered the greatest blessings in her life to havebeen born into a loving Christian home where she came to accept Jesus as her Savior at anearly age.

She is survived by one daughter, Eda Beth Ware, husband Bill, grandson Michael Ware, all ofOklahoma City, and granddaughter Jill Tate, husband Jacob, and children Addie, Fletcher andDouglas of Allen, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at Noble Cemetery at 11:00 AM on December 30 and amemorial service at Quail Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on December 30.
