Services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the South Colonial Chapel .

Mary Ruth Gentry entered Heaven's gates on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born May 26, 1924 in Willis, Oklahoma to her parents, Frank and Zella (Dutton) Henson. Mary attended Willis schools. On July 7, 1951, she married Troy Gentry and together they started a family. She proudly maintained a home for her family as a wife and mother of two. Her most precious moments were spent with her family preparing meals and enjoying fellowship around the holidays. Mary was an active member of Brookwood Baptist church for over 50 years, and she kept her church family close. She will forever be in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, and a doting grandmother. Mary was preceded in death by her: Parents, Frank and Zella Henson; Loving husband of 61 years, Troy Gentry; Sisters: Ileta Andrews, Estelle Erwin, and Hilda Henson; Brothers: Boyd, Vernon, Weldon, Alton, Bobby, and Doss Lee Henson. Mary is survived by her: Daughter, Zelda Cryer and her husband, Ronald; Son, Milton Gentry and his wife, Janice; Grandchildren: Amber and her husband, William Compton; Dustin Cryer; Zac Gentry; Sarah Moore and her husband Rusty; Great-grandchildren: Vaden Compton, Lauren Moore, and Claire Moore; As well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
