Mary Clinton Rawls Glover, age 79 of Oklahoma City, passed away September 24, 2026 from Alzheimer’s. She was born on August 27, 1947 in Norfolk, VA to Holman Calvin Rawls, Jr. and Elizabeth Woodhouse Rawls. Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion and worked as a Medical Technologist her entire career. She married Wade Glover November 22, 1989. Mary was a Diamond Jubilee member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Oklahoma City.

Mary loved to be locked into a task whether running lab tests, knitting, quilting, doing counter cross-stich, or in the last few years putting together puzzles. She loved games and words and was the queen of Scrabble. She had a plethora of hobbies through the years, including soap operas and reading historical romance. She was quick to laugh and loved to dance.

Mary also loved the sun and the beach she grew up on – often telling others she didn’t wear shoes before the age of 5 (doubtful) and that she wore her bathing suit everywhere, even to the grocery store (probable).

Standing all of 5’2” she had impeccable posture and loved to be physically active – for years throwing her competitive spirit into tennis. She will be remembered for her infectious joy of life.

Mary is survived by her husband, Wade; children, Michael James, David James and Mary James Ketch; and step-daughter, Nikki Hobbs. She is also survived by five beloved grandchildren, Michael James, Julia Ketch, Hunter Ketch, Amelia Ketch and Sabrina Hobbs.

Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection with private interment at a later date in the St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral Columbarium.
