Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 26th, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the South Lakes Chapel with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Mary Kathryn "Kathy" (Shatswell) Henderson, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

Kathy was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard and Mary (O'Neal) Shatswell on January 7, 1954. Growing up, Kathy enjoyed playing sports and spending time with her family. She excelled academically in school, enjoying English and Accounting the most. Kathy graduated from Southeast High School in 1972 and later attended Rose State College.

Kathy married the love of her life, Jerry Henderson on January 10, 1974, in El Reno, OK. They were blessed with two daughters, Kari and Brittany. Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She always did her best to quietly help others. As a family, they enjoyed traveling, helping friends and family with projects, and attending Kari and Brittany's numerous activities. Kathy worked for many years as a Histotechnologist and retired in 2019. In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed sightseeing, watching the best NFL game on T.V and watching both Oklahoma teams play whichever sport was in season. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially if it involved attending one of the grandkids events. She was an avid sports fanatic and enjoyed cheering on her children and grandchildren any time as she could. Kathy will always be remembered for her hard work, sense of humor, infectious laugh, and willingness to help others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Shatswell and Mary Durland; grandparents, William and Anna O'Neal, and cousin, Barbara Young. Kathy is survived by her husband, Jerry Henderson; daughter, Kari Robertson and husband Ryan; daughter, Brittany Weeden; sister, Karen Cox and husband Ron; two brothers, Ken Stagg and Steve Stagg; grandchildren, Ryan Weeden, Kolby and Kelsey Robertson; and several nieces and cousins.
