She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Grady B. Watson, Jr. and Donald Watson, as well as two sisters, Gwendolyne Ruyle and Helen Snider and the love of her life, James E. She taught elementary school for four years then decided to focus on raising her two sons, Jimmy and Michael. In 1970, Mary and her husband, Jim, started their own business selling fasteners and hardware from their home. Mary was a devout member of Southern Hills Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a children's Sunday school teacher and used her skills in American Sign Language to teach and interpret for the deaf. Mary lived a full life and was the most wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Our family was so blessed to know her. Mary loved sports and music, but more than anything she loved to spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
