Mary Maxine Russell, 85, went to be with her Heavenly father on September 6, 2021. The daughter of Herschel and Alta (Hockett) Ralston, she was born June 3, 1936 in Wyandotte, Arkansas. Maxine attended Wichita East High School. She married D.C. Russell and they shared more than 39 years of marriage together. They were blessed with two daughters. Maxine was a devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, she loved and cared deeply for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the first (and possibly only) Welcome Wagon Lady serving the City of Moore. She was later a medical receptionist and enjoyed greeting people. She was preceded in death by her: Parents; Herschel Ralston and Alta Ralston; And her brother Edwin Ralston. She leaves behind her loving family: Rashell Russell along with her two children, T.C. and Mary Russell; Marla Journeay and her husband David Journeay along with her 6 children, David Journeay, Amber Flowers, Brandi Peterson, Bryan Journeay, Joshua Journeay and Matthew Copeland; Her sister, Peggy Faas and her husband Eric Faas. 17 Great Grandchildren: Hayden, Gage, Aubrianna, Jaxson, Trynton, Olivia, Emma, Conner, Adelle, Maximus, Rylee, Addison, Ashley, Laurie, Sterling, McKenzie and Issabele; Numerous nieces, and nephews as well as many other extended family members and close friends.
