Obituary

Mary Jane Walker, 92, joined her Heavenly Father surrounded by her family on November 24, 2024.

Mary was born in Greenfield, Oklahoma On August 28, 1932 to Harry Frank "H.F" & Edith Blanch (Albin) Lookabaugh.

She was raised in the community of Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School, she continued her education at Oklahoma A& M, now Oklahoma State University, studying Home Economics.

Mary worked and retired as an Administrative Assistant at Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. She was President of the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association, member of the McDowell Allied Arts Council, the Eastern Star and the Audubon Society & and she was an excellent Arborist.

Mary was a steadfast Christian and worshipped for many years at Mayridge Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, she will always be remembered for her kind heartedness, loving all God' creatures, especially cats, lambs and cardinals and all the wonderful meals she prepared for her family and others for special occasions.

She loved gardening and tending to her flowers & roses, she loved singing & playing the piano at family gatherings and her church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; Frank, Harry Lee, Roy (Tuffy), Charles and Albert Lookabaugh.

She leaves cherished memories with those who survive, her children, Vanessa, Vincent and Valerie Walker & as a precious Mamaw to granddaughter Shiane "Sugar Bear"

Proud to be born and live in Oklahoma; she would say "we are so blessed to live where we live in Oklahoma"

Viewing will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 from 4-8 PM at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary at South Lakes 4000 S. W. 119th Oklahoma City, OK. 73173. Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:15 A.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Mayridge Baptist Church 4917 S. May Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73119.
