Mary Joyce Worsham August 18, 1925 ~ July 14, 2020 Mary Joyce (McAlpine) Worsham, daughter of John and Minnie May (Box) McAlpine, was born August 18, 1925 in Olustee, Oklahoma. She passed on July 14, 2020 at the age of 94. Mary and Jesse were founding members of Independence Ave Baptist Church and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Newcastle, where she leaves many friends and neighbors. Someday we shall all gather at the river that flows by the throne of God. We look forward to that reunion. God bless our mother and the loved one she leaves behind. Mary was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband of 57 years, Jesse M. Worsham; Infant son, James Isaac; Grandson, Danny Joe Worsham, Jr. She is survived by her family: Son, Danny Joe Worsham and his wife, Sandy; Daughter, Mary Anne Harmon and her husband, Jonnie; Son, Stephen M. Worsham and his wife, Judy; 4 Grandchildren: Joey Cruthirds, Stephanie Stafford, Harley Worsham and Marsha Hicks; Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; As well as several caring nieces and nephews coast-to-coast.
