Matilda Alviso
March 14, 1930 ~ September 10, 2021
Matilda Alviso, 91, went to be with her Heavenly father on Friday, September 10, 2021. The daughter of Benito J. & Fernanda C. Garcia, she was born March 14, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Matilda married her sweetheart, Gilberto Alviso, Sr. and together shared more than 49 years of marriage together. This union of marriage was blessed with four children. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Matilda also worked as an assembly line worker for Diamond Crystal Salt Company, for many years before her retirement in April 1, 1990. Matilda was very passionate about spending time with her friends and neighbors, but nothing was as important as being with her family whom she loved with all of her heart. Matilda was known for her cooking and will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving, and generous woman. She loved and cared deeply for her family and she will be held close to our hearts each day. The family would like to thank longtime friends and caregivers Jessie & Theresa Briggs along with Alan Bock, M.D & Lori Pickrell, M.D. and Integris Hospice for their excellent care. The family has asked that everyone who attends the Catholic Mass wears a mask.
