Mattie Ella Glover went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2013in Dallas, Texas. She was 90 years old. Mattie Ella was born on October 23, 1922 in Prentiss County, Mississippi to her parents, Noah and Anne Anderson. Mattie married Eugene D. Glover in Memphis, Tennessee and together celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. In 1957, they moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma when Eugene transferred to Tinker Field. They moved to OKC in the summer of 1962 and lived there until moving to Dallas in May 2010. Mattie graduated from Pine Grove High School in Prentiss County, Mississippi. She continued her education at business school in Memphis, Tennessee before working as a bookkeeper for the Hunter fan company for several years. In her spare time, Mattie Ella enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader, especially historical literature and novels. Mattie was a member of the Baptist faith and loved gospel music. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her:

Son, Eugene D. Glover Jr. and wife, Linda of Dallas, Texas;

Sister, Angie Wallis of Nashville, Tennessee;

Sister, Mildred Outlaw of Ohio;

As well as many nieces and nephews.
