Services to celebrate her life will be 10:00 AM Fri., April 17, 2015 at Southside Assembly of God Church, 419 SE 47th St., OKC, with burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Merline, 92, was called to her Heavenly home on April 14, 2015. She was born March 27, 1923, in Harrah, OK to George & Dona Belle (Grisby) Beach. Merline married Rev. Robert E. Hanks & was dedicated to creating a loving & spiritual home for their family. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution & favorite pastimes were going to church, shopping & fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dr. James Hanks; grandson, Dr. Jay Hanks; sisters, Katherine Beach & Alberta Manuel. Merline is survived by her sons, George & wife, Debra; Robert & wife, Marilyn; daughter-in-law, June Ann Hanks; sister, Virginia Mae Jimenez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren & other loving extended family members & friends.
