IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michele Lynn
Watson
September 9, 1966 – July 28, 2025
Michele Lynn (Moonier) Watson was born Friday, September 9 th , 1966 in Bellflower, CA
as the daughter of Sandi Gail (Atwater) Smith & Donald Stuart Moonier. Her life ended
Friday, July 25 th 2025. Michele was 58 years young with energy that of woman half her
age.
Michele's striking charisma, endless empathy & inspiring confidence ensured that she
knew no strangers throughout her lifetime. She is remembered by deep connections
with long-time friendships she fostered during the first half of her life in Southern
California & the seemingly endless stream of companions she bonded with during her
later years in Oklahoma. She was, by default, the light in a dark room and would strive
to seek happiness wherever it might be found. Although the death of her youngest son
at the age of 53 dimmed that light, she continued loving those around her with all that
she could muster. She assisted those with lesser means, cared for people when injured
or sick, and covered for others who found themselves in trouble. Her spirit was leagues
beyond what most would consider to be wild & vibrant, and most importantly, her heart
was true. She strongly loved those who she held close, as much as humanly possible,
especially her children.
Michele is survived by her husband, Scott Watson; her children, Brennen and Mckenna
King of Oklahoma City, OK; her stepchildren, Tiana Watson of Lebanon, TN, Jordan
Watson of Gallatin, TN, and Sabrina Watson of Oklahoma City, OK; her mother Sandi
(Atwater) Smith; stepmother Carlene Kirkland of Long Beach, CA; sisters Jennifer Wood
of Irvine, CA and Nicole Moonier of Long Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her
youngest son, Cole Watson and her father Donald Moonier.
The family will be colorfully celebrating her life at 6:00pm Friday, August 22 nd in the
Ballroom of the Gaillardia Country Club. To further honor her life, please send a letter
with short stories, memories and/or impacts on your life via letter to her son Brennen
King at 2623 N. Dewey Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73103.
