Michell Jane Gibbons, 76, passed from this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born April 9, 1945 in Checotah, Oklahoma the daughter of Oren and Sidney Margarite (Stauss) Pechette. Michell worked as an auto worker for General Motors for 30 years. She married Danny Gibbons January 12, 1966 and together they raised their family. Michell enjoyed reading, cooking and was a near professional at it. She loved traveling with her husband Danny and sharing recipes. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family. Michell was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jane R. Stauss; parents; and sister, Karen Baker. She leaves cherished memories with her husband, Danny Gibbons; daughters, Lorie Jones and wife LaDawn, and Kelly Hartley and partner Annalis Doyle; brothers, Joe Baker and wife Charlene and Frank Baker; grandchildren, Patrick Hartley and wife Janae, Owen Hartley and wife Chelsea, and Joshua Hartley and wife Cassie; great grandchildren, Lucy Hartley, Addyson Hartley, Avery Hartley, Elliahna Hartley, Lachlan Hartley, and Madeline Hartley; nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jimmy Gibbons and wife Nancy; sisters-in-law, Corene Everhart and Lorene McDaniel.
