Mildred Marie (Harris) Krause was born September 9, 1927 in Industry, Kansas the daughter of Ralph M. and Ina Mae (Proffitt) Harris. She completed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 95.

Mildred was raised in Kansas where she graduated from Draughon's School of Business in Kansas City. She married Milton Earl Krause on August 31, 1947.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years; her parents and her three brothers.

Mildred is survived by her son, Dr. Steven G. Krause and his wife, Nancy of OKC; her daughter, Dr. Candace McCaffrey and her husband Dr. Ray of Norman, OK; her grandchildren, Matt Krause, Becky Endicott, Jessica Purdum, Megan McCaffrey and Connor McCaffrey; her great grandchildren, Luke Purdum, Drew Purdum, Gage Krause, Gracie Krause, Garrett Krause, Sophia Endicott, Julia Endicott and Amelia McCaffrey.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 17 in St. Paul Lutheran Church. Private burial will be Fort Sill National Cemetery.
