Our beloved father Mitchell "Mitch" McFarlin passed away peacefully on June 5, 2023 at the age of 67. Mitchell will be lovingly remembered by his former spouse, Kelly Wilson, whom he fathered two children with, Macy McFarlin (Sean Heeke) and Kelsey Woods (Ethan Woods). Mitchell will also be fondly remembered by his two grandchildren, Gemma and Greyson Heeke; by his mother, Betty Fallis, brothers Steve McFarlin and Terry Fallis, and sister Susan Fallis.

He was born in Watonga, Oklahoma on August 17, 1955 and moved to Oklahoma City for the remainder of his life. He attended John Marshall High School and graduated from Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and formed lifelong friendships. He will be remembered as a remarkable father and role model who loved his girls deeply. Mitchell kept everyone laughing with his sarcastic sense of humor and playful personality.

Mitchell was an avid OSU sports fan; but especially loved OSU wrestling and would even watch on his TV while simultaneously listening on his radio. He enjoyed being outside and was passionate about fishing, especially deep-sea fishing in Costa Rica and Alaska with his friends.

A service will be held at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Our Lady of Sorrows Mausoleum, on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. All friends and family are welcome.

The family asks that donations to the American Institute for Cancer Research be made instead of flowers or other gifts.
