Mona "Joyce" Bradshaw, 78, surrounded by her family was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 8, 2025. Joyce was born on November 5, 1946 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Joe Warren Broughton, Sr. and Mona Rowena (Gray) Broughton and completed their family of five by welcoming Mona Joyce. She was preceded in death by two older brothers, Joe Warren Broughton, Jr. September 2, 1936 – November 24, 2024 and James Claude Broughton, January 4, 1939 – January 19, 2022.

Joyce attended school at Pontotoc Public School for ten years and ended the last two years at Tishomingo High School in 1963, from there she went straight to East Central State College at Ada, Oklahoma.

Mona Joyce married Danny Ray Lovett on June 1, 1965 and they were blessed with Dayna Michelle on October 17, 1967. Joyce taught at Bowlegs High School for one year and then they moved to Noble where she taught there for two years. Their marriage ended and she later married Walter Hubert Bradshaw on August 9, 1974 this union was blessed with two girls Monica Katherine and Valerie Joyce Bradshaw.

Joyce leaves behind her precious girls and their families, Dayna Michelle Lovett and Angela Redman- Lovett, Monica Katherine Schmidt and Brian Schmidt; Granddaughter, Addison Faith Schmidt; grandson, Grayson Michael Hugh Schmidt, Valerie Joyce Bradshaw and Ursula Lundberg Bradshaw and granddaughters, Rena Joyce and Mila Elizabeth Bradshaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bradshaw August 17, 2021, her Mom and Dad Mona and Warren Broughton and her brothers, Joe Warren Broughton and James Claude Broughton; sister in law, Linda Kaye Broughton; one grandson Aiden Ross Walter Schmidt; several nieces and nephews on the Bradshaw and Broughton sides of the family.
