Murriel Jeanette Long

Murriel Jeanette Long passed from this life on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 84 years old.  The daughter of Earl and Florine (Ward) Hamblin, Murriel was born July 12, 1941 in Youngs Creek, Kentucky.  After completing high school, Murriel earned her Bachelor's degree and worked as a Registered Nurse in the health care industry for many years. On February 6, 1960, Murriel married the love of her life, Earl Dean Long and together they raised their two daughters, Cathy and Cynthia. Murriel enjoyed OU Football, sewing, and reading, but her favorite time was those moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
