Myra "Gayle" Lemons, born December 21, 1939, beloved mother to Kristie Christian, of Edmond, OK; grandmother to Torri Christian, of Oklahoma City, OK; Aunt to Linda Long and Vickie Gulikers; and Great Aunt to a host of others, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2026. Gayle was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Debbie, age 3; husband of 55 years, Willy "Frank" Lemons; sister and brother-in-law Willa "Dean" and Robert ("Bob") Layton; parents Carmon and Ethel Robinson, and a host of extended family. Gayle was a devout Christian who attended church all her life until her health prevented it. She and Frank were long-time members of Southwest Baptist Church. Gayle was an avid Bible reader and completed reading it front-to-back multiple times. Gayle was a kind-hearted and gentle soul, prayer warrior, cancer survivor, wonderful mom and grandmother, a devoted and loving wife, a loving and helpful daughter, a dedicated homemaker, and doting grandma to Torri and her grand-pup, Biscuit. She was a lover of warm, sunny days, happy endings, and anything chocolate. Although she will be greatly missed, those left behind celebrate her body being whole and strong again and her heart filled with joy as she reunites in heaven with those she loved and missed so much. Mom, we will always love you.
