Myrle O. Painter passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 91. She was born September 8, 1923 to Robert C. & Mary Elizabeth (Lahue) Kelso in Boswell, OK. Myrle was of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved to sew & quilt & loved being with her family. She married William Painter on Sept. 21, 1941 in Chicota, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; brother, Robert C.; sister, Louise; & grandson, Todd Sampson. Myrle is survived by her daughters, Quanah (Dan) Sampson, Queba Painter of Okla. City; brother Coy (Maria) Kelso of Grand Prairie, TX; sister-in-law, Nora Dean Painter of Hennessey, OK; granddaughter, Kelli Sampson; great-granddaughter, Sierra Sampson of Okla. City; numerous nieces & nephews & other family members. The family receiving friends from Sunday 2-4 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be following the services Monday at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
