Viewing will be 4-8pm Wednesday and Thursday (July 22 & 23) with family greeting friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Vondel Smith Mortuary South. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2020.
Nadine, 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 17, 2020. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX on September 4, 1933 to Mary Elizabeth (Thrasher) & Albert Robert Lambiotte. While working at Orange Julius in Montgomery, Alabama, she met a young man, John Schenberg who was stationed there while in the Untited States Air Force. He gave her the nickname "Red". On March 31, 1952, Nadine and John wed after a six-month courtship. Nadine and John moved all over the United States during his 26 years in the USAF, until they settled in OKC. She spent much of her time tending to the family home, but also enjoyed traveling, gardening, needlepoint and always preparing a home cooked meal. She did volunteer work at Saint Ann's Nursing home years ago, and always said she wanted to live there someday which she did. She was an active member of Saint James the Greater Catholic Church. Nadine will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years John Schenberg, daughter Sharon Guldner and seven siblings. She is survived by her son, John R. Schenberg of OKC; daughter, Karen Durao and husband Jorge of OKC; Dennis Guldner of Nazareth, PA; five granddaughters: Kristie Rometo, Heidi Boyd, Natalie, Ashlie, and Gabby Durao; two great granddaughters: Olivia and Clara Rometo; numerous nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
