Nina May Reininger

November 6, 1931 ~ September 21, 2025

Nina May Reininger entered Heaven's gates to receive her heavenly reward on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Nina was born on November 6, 1931 in Geuda Springs, Kansas to her parents, Raymond and Edith May (Reeves) Axley.

Nina lived in several places including Arkansas City, Kansas where she met the love of her life, Pete Dave Reininger. They were united in holy matrimony on June 29, 1956 and together celebrated 65 years of marriage and raising their three children, Johnny, Billy and Jeri. This union of marriage was also later blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. In addition to be a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Nina also worked in the housekeeping department and maintaining the facilities for the Veterans Medical Center for many years. Known for her sweet, thoughtful and generous nature, Nina also had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed taking long walks with her family and her reading Bible daily. Nina will always be remembered for her selfless and unconditional love for her family. She will be deeply missed.
