Noella Ann (Hemphill) Doughty was born October 19, 1969 in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Noel L. and Joyce Ann (Strickland) Hemphill. She completed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her home in Oklahoma City at the age of 55.

Noella was raised in Enid where she graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in 1986. She attended both Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Oklahoma, where she studied English Literature. Her love for literature and all things artistic followed her throughout her life.

Noella dedicated her life to her children. She chose to homeschool her two kids, Madi and Austin, and spent her days as a homemaker and teacher. After her children were grown, she spent time working as a nanny, until moving her mother and stepfather into her home and caring for them full time. After her stepfather passed away, she spent her last days with her mother, where they helped take care of each other. Noella's greatest love was her family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Noella was preceded in death by her father, Noel Hemphill and her stepfather, Rev. Robert DeMoss.

Noella is survived by her mother, Mrs. Joyce DeMoss of the home; her daughter, Madison Longan and her husband Wade of Mulhall, OK; her son, Austin Doughty of La Jolla, CA; her two grandchildren, Archer and Wilder Longan; and her brother, Mark Stuart and his wife Mickey of Seattle, Washington.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 27, at 10 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 14317 N Council Rd, in

in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Oklahoma.
