Norma Carole Rhodes was born December 7, 1940 in Oklahoma City the daughter of Lester and Mary Althea (Ray) Hames. She completed this life on Monday, May 5, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 84.

Norma was born one year before Pearl Harbor was attacked. She was raised in Oklahoma City where she graduated from high school. She met her future husband at Capitol Hill Junior High School. They were later married on May 4, 1959 and were married for 66 years. She retired from Chrysler Financial where she worked for many years.

Norma is survived by her husband Gerry Rhodes; her two sons Dan Rhodes and his wife, Kim, Travis Rhodes and his wife Angela; her five grandchildren and her four great grandchildren.

Norma was a loving wife of 66 years and mother to her sons. She was a beautiful example of humility, compassion and serving others and Jesus.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
